The Wine Of Unity

By Novid Shaid, 2002

Gaze with your heart and see

A never-ending sea

Its water is the wine of Unity.

To set this secret free,

You need to turn a key

Unlock your door gaze at Eternity.

Freedom asks for a fee

Its price, none disagree,

A heart refined of all impurities.

From worldly torments flee,

Embrace Reality

Worry not of insecurity.

Ignore your naf’s vain plea

And Shaitan’s base decree,

By striving you will find security.

Leave your vulgarity,

And immaturity,

Hold firm your reins with honest dignity

With fate, be like a tree

Whether full or bare, carefree,

Soak up the rain of blessed purity.

Leave Him to oversee,

He knows your life’s précis,

Your meeting is no doubt a surety.

Shrink both worlds to a pea

Squash them, as if a flea,

Then vanish by His sheer proximity.

Make Him all that you see,

Shun dire duplicity,

And witness Him with great sincerity.

Plunge headfirst in the Sea,

Keep diving endlessly,

Drown in the lights of His pure entity.

Peace and blessings be

Upon the chief of all species,

And on his house and his community.
